It is not unusual for top wedding photographers in San Diego to make a big deal out of something small on a wedding day. Getting detailed shots of everything from the wedding dress to the wedding rings is a must on the big day. The bride and groom put a lot of effort, energy and thought into every detail of their special day. Once the day is over, all they are left with is the emotions and memories of the occasion.
Here are some of the must-capture wedding detail shots-:
Dress and Shoes
It is not easy finding a perfect dress for a bride. It is also unlikely that the bride is going to wear the dress and shoes once the wedding is done. That is why capturing this moment is the best way to preserve the memory of something that will not last.
You should shoot the dress from different angles and get close-up for intricate details such as buttons, crystals, beads and lace. Never forget to have a couple of shots with full look of the dress. As of the shoes, try to get creative on the different things to hang on. It could be contrasting light shoe or dark wood surfaces. Find what goes well for you and work with it.
The Table Setting
How the table is set up is an important part of the decoration for weddings. Never miss to have shots of the centerpieces, silverware settings, the actual plate and menu (if placed out). You should also try wide angle lens to get the details of the reception as this will capture the feel of reception on the big day.
Rings
The ring is the focal part of any wedding as it represents the promise the couple will be making on this important day. Rings are important objects that best international wedding photographers never have miss as they make great subjects. Usually there are three of them; an engagement ring, and two rings, one for the groom and one for the bride. You can choose to shoot them in the context of something else or on their own. It is however advisable to have a macro lens to get close up photos of the rings.
The Cake
The bride and groom are going to spend a lot on the wedding cake only to be devoured by guests. The only way to preserve the memory of the wedding cake is by taking detailed photographs. It will be great if you take wider shots showing the cake in context, especially where it is sitting around utensils or other décor. Also, have some close-ups that show cuteness of the topper or the details of the frosting.
